About Us

The Association for Higher Education Studies (YÖÇAD) is a non-governmental organization established in 2015 that operates in the field of higher education in Türkiye. YÖÇAD was founded to conduct research at national and international levels in the field of higher education, engage in academic activities, create a foundation for collaborative studies, and share emerging trends, research findings, and conceptual perspectives in today’s higher education world through scientific events such as conferences, congresses, panels, symposiums, seminars, and workshops.

Our Journal

Higher Education Governance and Policy (HEGP) is the scholarly journal of the Association for Higher Education Studies (YÖÇAD). HEGP aims to inform an international audience about higher education policies and management practices around the world. The core scope of HEGP is the development of higher education policies and their reflections in management practices in different countries’ systems.
